Fine Free Friday

Return your books, CDs, DVDs, or other overdue materials on the last Friday of each month and we'll get rid of the fines for those items!

In consideration of our lending partners, we cannot waive fines for inter-library loan, San Diego Circuit, and Link+ items. We can only waive fines for materials owned by the San Diego County Library.

Beginning December 1, 2011 the Fine Free Friday program will change. Overdue SDCL-owned library materials are eligible to have their fines waived if the items are returned on the next Fine Free Friday. (The Fine Free Friday that immediately follows the item's due date.) Items overdue longer than this will not be eligible for their fines to be waived on Fine Free Friday.
